The right doesn't respect or know the constitution either. Republicans are such hypocrites. . I''m not saying Democrats respect it, but at least they don't claim talk about it in every speech.

Ron Paul is the only politician that respects the constitution. You can't pick and choose like Republicans do.

Social security has been ruled by the Supreme Court (a conservative court, by the way) to be constitutional... Social Security Online

"Obamacare" hasn't been ruled unconstitutional by the higher court. It is still being fought in the lower courts.

Medicare and Medicaid were amendments to the original social security bill which had passed constitutional muster in the 1930's.

Internment camps were unconstitutional and inhumane. I agree with this one.

That's all you can come up with?

" Why does the left hate the Constitution?"

Probably for the same reason that the right hates Antarctica and chocolate pudding.

Even the founders, and our first generation of leaders after the founders, disagreed on their interpretations of the Constitution. The Constitution was a blueprint for our system of Federal government, but was intentionally left with wiggle room and vagueness. Just because some people don't agree with your interpretation doesn't mean they hate the Constitution. How childish.

The same reason the right does, it stands in their way.

I know, those old people are so embarrassing to themselves. That's what happens when you get too old to work or be useful for any other purpose. You go out and look like a joke at political rallies.
