The constitution was written by guys like washington, jefferson, and adams. American liberals/leftists have their own heros.
Well, Washington and Adams were part of the Federalist party, which favored a stronger central government, and Jefferson had views that both sides can adapt. He didn't like big industrial corporations, yet, in many ways he was libertarian. I don't think you can really place Jefferson anywhere, overall.
In fact, I'd say that if we went back to 1789, it would be the conservatives who would oppose the constitution's ratification because it would have created a somewhat powerful central government and took some powers away from the colonies. Just a thought.

You started the thread yesterday at 7pm-ish - dont tell me you have been working for 1 whole day, have started 2 other threads but somehow manaaged to avoid the answers you got here. EVERY action by the left is based on "feelings" and "good intentions", not Constitutional premise.

Again, you have no proof. You're just basing your accusations on your "feelings" about liberals. Tell me, why do I hate the constitution? Is it Article I? Article III? Or do I hate the 1st, 7th and 9th amendments? Tell me, since you seem to know so much about us liberals.
