Once again Republicans offer to compromise and the Dems, (or their fundraising arm in this case) are simply unwilling. Oh, well.

You have to be kidding. Kasich rammed this through without any compromise whatsoever. In response, opponents set a record for the number of signatures collected to get this put to a vote in November. And based on polling, there is going to have to be a huge uphill climb to see it stay law. This is no Wisconsin.

Oh, there was certainly a backlash - that would be preventing the Left/unions from achieving ANY of their goals.

Let's see - they lost in 2010, they lost when he passed the ban on CB, they lost when Prosser was re-elected, they lost when they failed to regain the Senate, stop the Walker/GOP agenda...and the only message being sent is one that is emboldening GOP governors across the country.
