What if the dems had tried to undermine W after 9/11? This recession is arguably even worse for the common American, yet they laughingly say a default would be a good thing, as they fight for the rich.

It is truly shocking. And the people who do all this claim to be patriots.

No.

He's not being "derided lampooned, slimed, sleazed" because he tried to do those things. The criticism he receives is for using these issues to divide America and to further his own interests over those of the people. He isn't being held accountable for trying and failing. He is being held accountable for failing to care about the nation in the first place. Obviously, the people didn't want much of what the Democrats did in 2009 and 2010, but they did it anyway with Obama leading the charge against the very people who put him in office.

yes, the stupidest thing is that he flies Air Force One, hops on the bus to ride into town, take over a few hotels, and drives out to catch the plane again. It's all as fake as he is, at our expense! I hope this is blowing thru his expense account - I can't wait for him to come back to us, asking for another raise.

I don't buy that take on things. I have never seen any indication that Obama does not care. The Tea Party types who fight to defend tax cuts for billionaires, while the rest of the country goes down the tube seem pretty heartless to me. They are so dead set on destroying Obama, they don't care about the body count. That was especially evident earlier this month. Obama, moderate Republicans, and Democrats compromised even though they all looked bad. The Tea Party pulled away so they could keep their good standing with Grover Norquist. I think it is very clear who cares for Americans, and who does not.

Maybe they were quiet because they weren't concerned. Let's take a look at some of the candidates that represent the opposition.

1. Romney. Soundly rejected in '08. He's about as inspirational as the runs.
2. Paul. Soundly rejected in '08. He reminds me of someone who works in the same lab that created Frankenstein's monster. Too right-wing. Too old.
3. Perry. We don't need enother far-right religious zealot from Texas who has nothing to do with what's good in Texas. What's right for Texas is certainly not right for the nation. This has been proven time and time again...most recently with Dubya.
4. Bachmann. Tea Party leader, which means thumbs down. Worse than Bush. Too simplistic, clueless, has a habit of lying. Another overly-religious lunatic. No.
5. Cain. We rarely hear about this turbo-charged Thomas. His own party doesn't support him because of his skin color and he's too clueless to realize it. No.
6. Palin. An airhead you betcha dingbat. She was up for VP and didn't even know what role the VP played in Congress. Appears to address only those in podunk, USA. No.
7. Paul Ryan. There's talk of him running. He's just a bespectacled Scott Walker suffering from severe hypertension. He's incredibly delusional and too narrow-minded. Wants to cut taxes to cope with a post-Bush economy. Clueless imbecile in a suit.
8. Limbaugh. Pathetic, repulsive individual. A Neocon. He stinks worse than Bush. Better suited for running the Klan than running the country. Even his campaign staff abandoned him because he's so lousy a candidate.
.
.
.
All were silent when Bush was wrecking the country and all support a bigoted ideology. So, maybe you saw a small crowd that wasn't very excited at this early date. But surveying the opposition, they don't have a thing to worry about.

No way in hell Rush would run. He is smart enough to know that talking the talk is not the same as walking the walk. Besides he would have to deal with the harsh ego deflating reality that most Americans find him repulsive and idiotic. Far better to keep his gravy train going with the dittoheads.

Obama is on the ropes, but noone in the field is remotely of his appeal or intellectual caliber (ok, maybe Paul and Romney on the brain front, but they both have limited appeal). I still admire the man. He has had a very tough situation, and he has tried to play nice with assassins. I think he is learning his lesson, and if that means he is an angry, agressive, finger pointing Obama, so be it. Mr. Nice Guy did not work with these tools.

Calender check, Bush has been out of office these 2 1/2 years. It has been Obama swinging the wrecking ball with a vengeance. One tenth of any of the aforementioned candidates is head and shoulders above Obama AND his supporters combined.

LIE.. The primary source of bankruptcy related to healthcare is because they got SICK and cant pay THEIR OTHER BILLS. Do you think people can pay their mortgage, their car payment, their massive credit card bills when they stop working due to illness? Its only that healthcare bill that causes bankrupties? My god, dont you guys ever stop reading the liberal garbage of lies?

I see your new around here, so you probably dont know how it works yet.

Bush bad.. Obama great, obama failures though, Bushs fault.. Even if Obamas bills were passed into law, (which they were), and failed, (which they did), its still Bushs fault. Those massive deficits, Bushs fault, even though Obama wrote the laws, signed the bills, expanded the spending. yep.. All Bush..

Obamas plans which have been tried before, and has failed every single time since the history of human civilization, would suddenly become a success, simply because Obama "said its true".

And when Obama leaves office, liberals will be moaning because he didnt spend enough, but will suddenly begin to be concerned about deficits and the national debt.

And attemping economic stimulus when the economy was imploding was bad because?

And all this make Obama a terrible, despicable person because?

Feel free to educate me. I am listening.

OK, I'll bite...

Taking that on was horrible because?

The bill was forced down our throats even though poll after poll consistently showed Americans didn't want Obamacare. It's a bad law designed to bankrupt private insurance thereby forcing single payer on the vast majority of Americans who are happy with their health insurance.

And attemping economic stimulus when the economy was imploding was bad because?

Keynes was a moron. Anyone who borrows money to "stimulate" an economy is just as retarded as Keynes, building and election year slush fund or both.

And all this make Obama a terrible, despicable person because?

No...the things Obama does don't make him a despicable person. Anyone can be wrong. What makes Obama a despicable person is his disregard for others. When I look at Obama, I see a classic megalomaniac. He is devoid of introspection and incapable of humility. His record in office proves he has no genuine guiding principles and stands for nothing except perpetual consolidation of political power. Were he a garden variety leftist who honestly believed in the causes he advocated, I would disagree with him, but he would have my respect. No, for Obama the liberal causes he advocates are just convenient vehicles to achieve the true goal. We'll be fortunate to be rid of him in 2013 and have dodged a very serious threat to our Constitution and our liberties.
