Yes Obama has to be the president for all Americans but I think he can simply visit both urban Black areas and white rural areas without putting the focus on race. The news media, pundits and commentators will do that for him.
I actually think that's part of the problem. If Obama does visit "Black areas" the media will highlight the Blackness of these areas in ways they wouldn't highlight the whiteness of white areas. The media may make too big a deal of Obama being in a Black area and I wonder if those in the administration realize this so it's recommended that he avoid these Black areas to avoid it being precieved that he's catering to Blacks.
What a load of crap.
Just admit that he doesn't want a spotlight on the failure of his policies.
Galileo thinking:Now should I go along with this anti-Obama crapola or should I just ignore it? I mean, that's what it is, anti-Obama drivel. Well, now I'm here at this post. And the microwave pizza won't be cooked for another three minutes. Why not go ahead and type something?
No, no Obama doesn't owe specifically blacks an explanation. Sociologists can offer blacks an explanation. After all, that's where the analyzation ought to come from. But does Obama owe an explanation on his policies or his presidential decisions to any specific ethnic group? No. Besides, what if he did address expressly blacks with why they are suffering economic woes? How many C-D posters would proclaim him racist for that, or accuse him of demonstrating race-based preferential treatment? Geez, I don't even want to think about it.
It seems to me that you do quite a bit of thinking in regards to liberal social policy and not enough time seeing the consequences of such.
