When exactly will the MSM take this story on? I'm betting never. These fools have put the lives of US citizens at risk and one border agent killed because of this. They were supposed to track the weapons and now don't even know where they're at. Unbelievable. They should all be jailed and Obama impeached for high crimes.

"Reporting from Washington—
Firearms from the ATF's Operation Fast and Furious weapons trafficking investigation turned up at the scenes of at least 11 violent crimes in the U.S., as well as at a Border Patrol agent's slaying in southern Arizona last year, the Justice Department (http://www.latimes.com/topic/crime-law-justice/u.s.-department-of-justice-ORGOV0000160.topic - broken link) has acknowledged to Congress."

'Fast and Furious' gun sting linked to 11 violent crimes in U.S. - latimes.com
Who needs the LA Times to tell the true story about those three men who were promoted to jobs in DC? Fox talked about the story all day yesterday and anyway the LA Times is part of the MSM although they often publish things that the NY Times and WAPO won't publish.

I don't think many of THEM will be likely to read this link now that I have let the cat out of the bag.

cover up in progress.

Eric Holder initiates promotions of those directly involved in the Fast and Furious/Gunrunner fiasco, while simulteanously attempting to force Congress to turn over the very documents that could potentially prove his and Obama’s own wrongdoing in the growing scandal.

It is not the first time Obama Attorney General Eric Holder has so openly shown he acts most decisively when he is most threatened. Last year it was Holder who effectively shut down an investigation into the explosive allegations of racism against white victims of crime within the Obama Department of Justice. The New Black Panther voter intimidation case had both in-house testimony and corroboration, and a decision by an oversight panel that sided with the charges of racism and intimidation, and yet Eric Holder in his capacity as one of the most powerful federal officials in the nation, SHUT IT DOWN. The move itself gave at the very least an appearance by Holder of personally initiating a cover-up, but a Congress then still controlled by Democrats allowed the termination of the case, and no further substantive inquiries were made.

That was then – and this is now. Once again Eric Holder is openly showing his desperation in wanting to minimize the possible damage against himself and President Barack Obama regarding the still developing Fast and Furious/Gunrunner scandal. Last week reports began circulating of promotions being granted to three top supervisors of the failed and deadly federal program that resulted in thousands of guns being placed into the hands of known criminals that ultimately led to the deaths of government officials and citizens on both sides of the U.S.-Mexican border. Two of the three officials promoted previously admitted publicly to their own failings while overseeing the Fast and Furious operation. These failings were in direct violation of their duties as ATF supervisors – and yet, Eric Holder saw to it they were promoted and each placed at ATF headquarters in Washington D.C. – within walking distance to Holder’s own Department of Justice offices.

or how about this stupidity, on the ruling on the death of one of those killed by those "fast and furious" guns?
Agent Brian A. Terry, 40, was killed on Dec. 14 near Rio Rico, Ariz., according to a statement released by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials. (FNC).

However, in this case, U.S. Attorney Dennis Burke argues because the family was not “directly or proximately harmed” by the illegal purchase of the murder weapon, it does not meet the definition of “crime victim” in the Avila case. Burke claims the victim of the Avila’s gun purchases, “is not any particular person, but society in general.
.

uuhhh, he's been murdered, dumbass, so i think that makes him a "crime victim". where do they get all of these people???????? my sincere sympathy to the terry family.

Do you have your shields up and ready to repel? You better. They are all either searching to prove you wrong on some of their left handed blogs or in bed getting ready to attack soon after midnight. They will be in after they get their orders.

Nope most just stay away from the fast and furious threads just like the MSM. Pretend it isn't there and it will go away. Or they think its the title of a movie. Now if the evil Bush was president and well we all know what THEY would be screaming about. Remember how they howled at the moon when Gonzo asked for six or eight, cant remember the exact amount, to resign. Well years later after millions spent on IG investigations they found no wrongdoing. More of that get Bush BS. Now when people are dying do to the actions of this AG not a squeak.

Two days before Newtown, CT happened... Fast and Furious suspect sentenced

A man who purchased two rifles found at the scene of the fatal shooting of a federal agent north of the Arizona-Mexico border has been sentenced to nearly five years in prison.

...
Avila was not charged directly in Terry's murder. He was a firearms buyer who illegally trafficked guns into the hands of Mexico's Sinaloa drug cartel while under surveillance in ATF's Operation Fast and Furious. The guns allowed to hit the streets came back to haunt the U.S. (as objecting ATF agents warned they might) on Dec. 14, 2010 when armed Mexican bandits used them in an assault on Terry and other border agents in Arizona near the Mexican border.

Obama, now calling for gun control, was OK with the program that moved automatic weapons back and forth across the border.

How sad something so important and impending as this story, will get swept under the rug, so sad, that those very guns, that were going back and forth across the borders, were responsible in the death of Brian Terry, and nothing done at that time.

And yet ONE legal gun in CT has the government talking about limiting access to certain guns?

The hypocrisy of this government is beyond astounding.

Note, note one peep from a forum liberal. It's downright disgusting that they find NOTHING wrong with this government.

Another thread where Liberals feet are held to the fire....

Again, these issues get a blind eye turned to them....why? Because it would force the focus on how they get these guns illegally and how the government helps.

They'd rather focus on one sick kid who got a gun (illegally) from a law abiding citizen...

And what do they focus on??? Not the social dyanmics of this country, not his sickness, not anything else but the gun....

one gun

Liberals are dead in the water on this issue.
