In the "Imagine that..." category,
Muslims denounce bill to ban 'foreign laws' (http://www.detnews.com/article/20110817/POLITICS02/108170375/1022/Muslims-denounce-bill-to-ban-%E2%80%98foreign-laws%E2%80%99?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=fee d&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+delicious%2Fgqlf+%28Christi an+Headlines+Top+Headlines%29 - broken link) Opposition is mounting among Muslims against pending legislation that would ban Michigan courts from considering "foreign laws" — including Sharia, or Islamic law.
Muslim and community leaders gathered Tuesday in Midtown to denounce legislation from state Rep. Dave Agema, R-Grandville, as divisive, unnecessary and mean-spirited. "This plan goes against our country's core values of accepting people from all races and walks of life," said state Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Detroit, who is Muslim. "We simply cannot move forward with this plan. "It's racism at its core."
Regarding the bold... #1 - What country? Whose values?
#2 - I'm sure they can't move forward with that "plan" in the way. GOOD.
Re #1: THEIR country - YOU don't own it!
New thread - same old message.
Same response to it - US law is SUPREME-get it? You can't ban religions you don't like from this country - real Americans won't allow it.
Saturating the forum with this crap is not working, real Americans believe in religious freedom and are ignoring you. Your views are as marginal as those of any teabag bozo...
What the hell is a "foreign law" anyway? The only laws are the laws.
I wish states would stop making these "herp derp, can't enforce laws that aren't laws" legislations.
As far as civil law goes, I don't see why it is at all reasonable to restrict what manner of arbitration two parties may agree on on the basis of where they come from rather than whether they conflict with the laws of the US. If two people decide that one party will loan the other money according to Jewish law or Shariah law, they are totally within their rights to do so.

Actually I do own a piece of this country, and I do care about how we operate and run things. This is not a difficult issue. No Sharia laws here.
You obviously have a problem with this. Why? Are you a supporter of the jihad?

Still no clue eh?
Well for others who thinks like you - there's a difference between Islam and Islam fundamentalist-abuse just like Christianity vs. Christian fundamentalist-abuse.
Muslims have a right to American citizenship, and civilized American know this. That's why your ilk is not in charge.
I hope you do not consider yourself a spokesman for Christianity...
Have you thought about moving to a country without religious freedom - someplace more comfortable for you?
Still no clue eh?

Nobody has denied Muslims citizenship as a group - some need to be deported though.
Sharia laws can not be the rule of law. You haven't addressed this. This is not difficult to understand.
And you did not answer my question about supporting jihad - but don't worry about it.
Still no clue eh?

Yes, it's a duplication of the "enemy within" Islamic "Sharia Law" threads. Muslim as demon. No reason to start a new one unless you want to just use up space.

If you read it, why are you talking about the right to American citizenship and banning religions? You're making stuff up.

I will take my chances with the space usage. Thanks.

Having trouble comprehending what you read? It sure seems like it. Where does it say that they are trying to ban religion? This ought to be good.
