Crawford Texas is a little different than 50K a week martha's vineyard with a 14 trillion dollar deficit and a 40 vehicle convoy with a million dollar bus made in canada.
His timing is terrible and he should come back to work with congress and pass a balance budget amendment
Not to mention the fact that Bush's ranch was set up so he could run the country from there. I wouldn't count any time spent in Crawford as vacation.
I don't care how much vacation time he takes, but this is a weak argument. Neither Reagan or Bush was faced with the worst economy since the depression.
ALso, what has been described as vacations for Bush and Regan was simply working at the Western White House, neither guy were big Washington people.
No, Bush was just faced with the 2 worst disasters and loss of life in US history, and decided to take a vacation.
All president's have been criticized for taking vacations. Bush took an entire month of vacation during his presidency. People like you and Zoomba are the perfect example of those on the right who believe Republicans and conservatives can do absolutely no wrong, and Obama or any liberal is automatically evil. It's getting so freakin tiresome.

Obama can't pass an Amendment. He has absolutely no roll in that process. And you're assuming the States will pass it. Good luck with that one.

Huh? Are you comparing two acute incidents to a 2.5 year, and counting disaster? And of course Bush didn't take a vacation 9/12.
Again, if you read my post, I wrote I don't care how much vacation he takes, but this line of defense is weak. And it is.

Four years into Reagan's presidency there was a severe recession. Unemployment was 10.3% and on election day it was 9.1%.
Bush had two wars waging. Nevertheless, 31 months into their presidencies, Obama took 70 vacation days and Bush took 225.
But, of course, the hard-right expresses outrage at Obama they never would at Bush.

LOL, you guys are pretty pathetic. Why don't you simply say he's doing a great job so he deserves a vacation? The reality is he is doing a cummy job, we are better off when he is not working. The reality is, it doesn't matter how much vacation time a President takes, but rather how good a job he does. Comapring his vacation time to any other Presidents vacation time is completely irrelevent and a weak argument.
And for the third time, I don't care how much vacation time he takes!
During his first year in office, Barack Obama took 26 vacation days. During their first years in office, George W. Bush took 69, Bill Clinton 21, George H.W. Bush 40, Ronald Reagan 42 and Jimmy Carter 21.
Trips to Camp David, which were not included as vacation days, were: Obama 27 days, George W. Bush, 78 days.
With Republicans apparently throwing a fit because President Obama is vacationing with his family, perhaps now is a good time to note that after 31 months in office, Obama has taken 61 vacation days. At this point in his presidency, George W. Bush had already spent 180 days at his ranch. Maybe the right should find something less silly to whine about. http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/
Now the right can get down to important issues such as why The First Lady advocates against child obesity.

Hmm I haven't had any. I guess I'm doing my part sacrificing like the great orator says but he's above all that stuff.
PRESIDENT Obama could have taken 0 days vacation and the looney extremists would still be making **** up in regards to it. Go figure, they've got nothing but fear and loathing driving them.
But don't worry, I've taken more than enough vacation days this year to make like Bushie and make the wackos comfortable.
