What an unbelievably stupid general accusation. However, let's all allow you the opportunity to provide your in-depth study which proves, or even suggests, your accusation.

Please provide your evidence, study, stats, work product, etc. Anything which would justify such a hateful, general statement.

Why would I vote for politicians who want to oppress and enslave me to gain money and power? It would be like a black person voting for Strom Thurmond or a Jew voting for Hitler.

Small business owners can be pretty painful on low-wage workers and consumers.

If you owned a small business, you'd know that low-wage earners can be pretty painful on small business owners, too.

Catholics used to be strongly Democratic, but the abortion issue has moved a number of them into the Republican camp. It's a real struggle for most Catholics each election on who to vote for. The majority of the Church's teachings are more in line with the Democratic Party, but being pro-choice is a deal breaker for many.

I think Republicans would love it if they could convince straight white Christian males that they're being victimized, and that the Democratic Party is the party for non-whites, non-Christians, gays, and women.

Expect to see a lot of this kind of fear-mongering throughout the next year. Republicans have realized that they're not going to attract non-white voters in large numbers. They succeeded with the "Southern Strategy" in the 1970s by portraying the Democratic Party as the party of blacks. This same strategy of "divide and conquer" continues today.

I agree. The chickens are now coming home to roost. The GOP made a decision to identify with white racists decades ago. It served them well for awhile, but now as the demographics in America shift, it's going to cost them votes. They realize this, and many know they are going to have to change. They are going to have to quit winking at the racists, which they do when the chips are down. They need to give that up now, so they can build a party of the future. Currently, their fortunes are tied to a dwindling number of the population.
