It would have never came to be if not for pervasive racial discrimination for such a long time in this country.

If you want to stop Affirmative Action it's simple STOP RACIAL DISCRIMINATION!

Case in point George W. Bush Jr. admission to Yale. There is no way George W. Bush Jr. was academically qualified to attend Yale but when you grandfather is Prescott Bush a Yale alumnus, mulitimillionaire and formers U.S. Senator and your father is George H.W. Bush a prominent businessman and political figure.

There are a large number of people in this country that derive a significant amount of their self-esteem based on the belief that their skin color somehow makes them in some way superior. I have spent significant portion of my life watching people such as this become surprised, bitter and in some cases downright angry when they found out that wasn't necessarily the case.

To balance things. Were you punished? I don't believe in affirmative action and I am Black. However, I do know that discrimination DOES still occur and there has to be some way to make sure people are not denied things because of their race.

LOL I agree and that is a good way of putting it.

Of course they get special rights and privileges.......But even with all this special treatment, they still have the highest percentage in jails/prisons, commit more crimes then non-blacks, have higher HIV infection rates, higher poverty rates (yet always have money for 22inch rims, weaves, Black and Milds and 40s), have the lowest test scores and higher drop out rates than any other race, higher out-of wedlock pregnancy rates and the list go on and on and on.

I say we take away all these "special treatments", because it obviously isn't working to improve their way of life.

My god, your statement is so condescending and insulting. Yet, your sentiments are common within the Republican Party. Let me tell you: That's no way to attract more blacks to the party. It sounds like you're saying blacks are too dumb to know what's good for them.

Who made you so superior? And why don't you believe that blacks can make good decisions for themselves?

Please tell me of these special privileges so that I can start taking advantage of them. Thank you.
