Yeah, because I'm sure this is something Hillary Clinton or John McCain's campaigns would have overlooked back in 2008.

Why not? Hasn't Obama been the perfect scapegoat, so far?

Personally, I think it's bad form to chastise other people for not serving in the military, not everyone is cut out for military service. too many people lack the morals, discipline, personal integrity, strength of character, or the physical and mental requirements.

By the time they started...you wouldn't be able to sign up--get to basic, finish AIT, and sign into your unit before the conflict was long over.

Come on folks...let's try to be intellectually honest. This is a non-issue. Also, please include your years of service, campaigns served in, and MOS/AFSC/Rate in your replys.

Thanks in advance.

No, Bush and Chaney were the traitors and cowards. At least Kerry actually went to Vietnam.

Yeah, Obama should have dropped out of Harvard Law School to enlist in the military in his early 30s--at the age of which he would've actually been too old to enlist in most branches of the military.

What..the..*ell does John Wayne have to do with anything? He was 34 at the time of Pearl Harbor, was married and had a family deferment.
His studio threatened him with all sorts of lawsuits if he walked away from his contract.
He toured hospitals and bases in the South Pacific. He later found starring in patriotic war films painful because of his inability to enlist.

All that took me under a minute to research.
This is the internetz, guys..... use it once in a while.

Why should we have to qualify myself to you? My military service, or lack of it, should be a non-issue here. Why do you think it matters here?
