Yup, my money. I can do whatever I want with it. Matter of fact I just sent 25 bucks to my friend in Tampico.

I see this as a tax opportunity.......

We need a remittance tax placed on these funds.

It looks to me like a good portion of the reason we have high unemployment is that we have a few million jobs being taken by people who shouldn't be here.

I bet you that you would have plenty of people to work the fields and bussed tables if you paid them what the market would bear. Hiring illegals was simply a way for businesses to subvert the market by breaking the law.

How about a little trickle-up economics for a change?

What solution do you have? Do you want big government to get involved?

I guess those corporations are all A-OK with you then, right?

I would suggest we enforce the laws we have on the books as opposed to circumventing congress and the wishes of the majority. Wouldn't that be refreshing?

I bussed tables as a teenager.

You'd probably have to cut off all aid to the indiginant before you could get Americans back into the fields. Those are probably the only jobs Americans won't do now. Still we have legal agriculture programs to fill these jobs and only about 1-3% of illegals work in agriculture.

Boy, people like Arpaio and legislation like we passed here in Arizona must really be working.

Whatever jobs illegals are taking are jobs unemployed Americans can't land. Simple math. Even if they are off the books jobs washing dishes, if it was American citizens earning that money they'd be buying things here instead of sending money back to people in Mexico.

Why do you think they are legally here just because they are included in this statistic?
