OP, didn't you even read your own source? It says president Obama will be there at Sunday's dedication to help bury a time capsule. That IS the main event with a lot of smaller events all this week leading up to that dedication, not the unveiling that just took place.

A day late & a dollar short.
No, the group responsible for the creation of the memorial made Sunday the official date.

LOL...you're kidding, right? So now you're the guy to tell us black folks how we should feel about so-and-so president? Really? We should be taking our marching orders from YOU?

This stuff is unreal.

Guess what, they will not speak out against it. Obama can throw the black community under the bus one billion times, snuff them at speeches, call them nasty names, and they will still vote for him because "he's one of us" and the liberal media will try to find some excuse that he "misspoke" or his comments were taken out of context.

What exactly are they supposed to speak out against? And when did he throw me (an actual black man) under the bus?

Guess what, you ought to read the link and know what's going on before speaking out about a non-issue.

Is this supposed to unite people or something?

78% of White Americans don't care about an MLK Jr. statue in Washington.

I'm sure attendance records on Sunday will reflect what the polls have shown.
