Given the source is a far right hack site, they of course don't tell the full story. Keep in mind governor Scott had/has the lowest approval rating in the history of the state, tea party approval is in the 20's, their attacks on seniors makes them very unpopular, which is a key vote in the state. Also the republican led house gained congress the lowest approval ratings in the history of the nation.
Obama's approval ratings may not be stellar, but they are far better than the GOP and especially the tea party.

Wait a minute... I thought that the Tea Party IS made up of seniors... Isn't that the joke in your circle? Old white haired people with signs talking about keeping government out of SS/Medicare?

Which is it, T?

The tea party base is mainly seniors and rednecks. They parade "less spending!" then when the tea party politicians proposed those cuts, it all but destroys medicare, medicaid, and all other programs for seniors. Many tea party members (including Scott) were boo'd out of town hall meetings for it. This is why the tea party's approval is so low. The people gave them a chance, but found out loud and clear their "less spending!" "less government!" political rhetoric is just that, and that they in reality are nothing but far right corporate owned puppets

A lot of the recent decline in Obama's poll numbers is coming from dissatisfied lefties and left/center progressives (like me ), who are disgusted with Obama's tendency to fold under GOP pressure. The REAL danger for Obama is, these folks will be SO disgusted that they stay home on election day.

We'll rally though, come election time. As bad as Obama is domestically, the GOP Christo-Corporate Cultists would be 10X worse .

And your ignorance of FL politics is showing.
Wish I had been witty enough to think up the Voldemort epithet myself.
Oh, and thanks for the personal attack, too bad you had nothing of substance to contribute, but thats typical for you, isnt it?

I came in here to say exactly this.

Ask me if I like a stubbed toe and I'll tell you "Absolutely Not!".

That doesn't mean I'd chose amputation over stubbing though.
