Do you mean the publication that broke John Edward's b.....d baby and Limbaugh's pill addiction story.
When it comes to aliens..flying saucers..global warming and Hollywood..it can be debated...but when national inquirer gets to hard news..they are credible.
There can be no doubt the Obama's are looting the Treasury of the United States.
We should be concerned all that Copper in the White House being yanked out.
Lets hope the 'sources' in the White House are keeping an eyeball on the Copper.
If this were a U.S. paper, I could see the story getting thrown to the side. But given that its' a UK publication, that's an indicator that it's likely being picked up by other international markets as well. Not good PR for America or the POTUS during these fiscal dire straits. And certainly not good for taxpayers.
Please. It's a tabloid citing the National Enquirer citing an anonymous source.
"The Obamas' summer break on Martha's Vineyard has already been branded a PR disaster after the couple arrived four hours apart on separate government jets.
But according to new reports, this is the least of their extravagances.
White House sources today claimed that the First Lady has spent $10 million of U.S. taxpayers' money on vacations alone in the past year."
Heck she is saving taxpayer money..on the vodka..she buys it by the barrel.

I didn't read the whole thread, but I'm sure that someone's pointed out that the OP link said nothing substantiating the $10 million figure, and that the Obamas paid for the hotels and private stuff. The things about security costs are ridiculous, because that has to be paid for no matter what. Even to keep Air Force One idling requires a lot of labor and maintenance, and the Secret Service people are paid regardless of what the President does. It's not a temp job.
That's not to say I approve of Obama, but there are real issues to criticize him for, such as approving the spending of vast amounts of money overseas on needless wars while the economy is crashing.
I read your post. Which said that the story originated in the "international market". But it didn't. If you think the Enquirer is a reliable news source, that's your business. Clearly some do. But the credibility of an article really has nothing to do with how often it gets picked up by any news organization, but might have something to do with WHO picks it up. The Enquirer, really?
That's not what I said at all.
Let's recap:

Now, what part of that post did I say it "orginated in the 'international market." I didn't. You're intentionally lying or your intentionally being obtuse. Which is it? I asserted that since it is a UK publication running the story, its highly possible that other international markets will pick up on the article and run with it as well. That was my concern.
I don't appreciate you distorting my words. Feel free to apologize.
If it is true, no one should be at all surprised by this.
I am constantly amazed by those who say, "If I knew then what I know now, I never would have voted for him."
It was plain as day to me.
Thank you so much, writing was on the wall for most with half a brain, hate to say that but true. I have friends now who said, why did i vote for him, why was i fooled, why did i listen to the media, why why why, no one put a gun to anyone's head and said vote for Obama, he will fool you all, then do things to further his agenda.
Has he helped any, Nope, do we have a thriving stable economy as he suggested we would, nope, do we have low unemployment numbers, nope, high as can be, do we have thriving housing sales, nope, just the opposite, new home sales are down, the thousands and thousands of foreclosures, shortsales, and repos, have made home sales of a standard listing lose the value on a home. I know couples who have walked away from gorgeous beautiful homes in beautiful areas, because they owed more then the home is not worth, and in different States too. Businesses bouncing back and doing great, nope me myself, know 15 familys who have lost jobs to Obummer and this wacko administration, and more then half their homes too. Do i think he has helped any, nope, i think 1 strike and your out! In no way he deserves to be struck out 2 times.

It's pretty offensive for the President and First Lady to be engaging in such high profile and expensively extravagent behavior while he arguably has very much helped bankrupt this country leaving the US Taxpayer to foot the bill. Just more icing on the cake of the legacy of financial debt he is leaving to us and our children.
