If Christian Conservative Michelle Bachman won in 2012 and by her conviction of christian morals was able to kick all seniors off medicare, would it decrease medical insurance cost since a bunch of senior citizens would have to gravity towards the private insurance rolls (if they can afford it)?

It certainly would cut medical costs. Large groups of people would not be able to get the expensive medial treatments they need and then would die thereby relieving us (the young and fit) of the financial burden.

Seniors would just go on obamacare - better coverage than medicare but without any premiums to pay...

Do you really thnikl that Obam cuttting meidecare by 500 bgillion helps it ;Op?Seems you read too mcuh and actaully do ot look at who really is taking such action against medicare. Did you even listen t the trustees report on what is goig to be the resulkt of 2012 cuts to remebusreent to 30% of private insurance. Instead of listne to poltics look at what i really happening that the sppeches are meant to keep from pay attention to.

Actually it's the same deal if the medicare eligibility age is raised. Retirees will just take the free obamacare for a year or two instead of the relatively expensive medicare. Obamacare is a great incentive to retire early and let the govt pick up the cost of your HI...
