Since Christians make up over 78% of the population, it looks like they are under represented, and maybe the atheists are over represented.

First of all whats the % of our population that is athiest.
Second. When I joined the service they asked what religion. I answered Baptist. Thats what my family was.
They dont ask are you a practicing baptist or its more about if youget killed what service do you want.
Im sure its the same for prisons.

It is sad, and it is true, Christians are people, people who make mistakes, have issues and fail all the time. As someone stated earlier a lot of Catholic, Mormon, Jehovah Witnesses claim to be "christian", when in all reality it is not the title that makes the person, it's what is truly proclaimed in their heart.
Christians can be bad people, and there are those who make bad names for those of us "born again believers" who try to show the world that we are all not bad. It is sad, and difficult.
Atheist are very smart and intelligent people, usually have very high degree's and awesome jobs, they have a lot of talent and skills that can and do a lot for our society and the world. Because they don't believe in the a God or any gods doesn't make them bad people, they just limit themselves in a way...

EVERYONE is a born into some form of religion. You are either "christian, catholic, jewish, hindu, budhist, islamic.....
