Last prediction I saw had it coming right over me.
OUCH!
I am glad I am renting & on 3rd floor.
The windows rattle in this building with 40 mph winds.
The garage has flooded a few times already this year.
This is not going to be fun.
And my pooch won't be happy about not getting outside for a day. She absolutely will not "go" anywhere but on the grass. :-(
PLEASE TURN EAST! (Latest forecast says it will NOT be turning east - strong High in Atlantic keeping it west)
hopefully it will go east, but we'll still probably get a lot of rain from it. glad i live on a hill..
Would you like to share some of that rain with us out here in the completely dry midwest. We are in what is considered and extremely drought ridden area and much of Texas is worse off.

would be nice if we could. TX and OK are really getting hammered. i know some folks that are having to have hay shipped in from nebraska and wisconsin.
This S. Floridian is keeping her fingers crossed for all those in the potential path.
A Cat 2 hurricane in S. Fl, which is well prepared for these events, leaves a mighty mess.

Right now it looks like the metro NYC area could take it a hit - wouldn't want to be there, if it does...
Political differences aside, I wanted to take a minute to shout out to all of the east coasters on this forum that may be in the path of this hurricane. At this moment it is expected to be pretty bad. Be prepared, batten down the hatches and evacuate if necessary. Remember to make sure your pets are safe too! As it looks now, I will get hit pretty hard, I'm about 5 miles inland from the shore. I have plenty to do battening down my place as well. Good luck and stay safe!!!!
Hopefully it will make an eastward turn and not hit us too hard....
I'll probably be caught on the news going surfing and swimming....
Again.

I'm in the hurricane path, unfortunately, but since it's gonna be a category one, I don't imagine it'll be too bad. The most I'm worried about is power outage for the most part
