Because you say so?

Here are the facts:

Mitch McConnell said that making Obama a one term president is their #1 goal -- not fixing the economy; not reducing unemployment.

Let's not forget GOP groups cheering when Chicago failed to get the 2016 Olympics. That's patriotic, huh?

Right-wing Obama-hate is stronger than America-love.

Thanks for the great example of delusional thinking, on your part.

SMART AND DUMBER
Why intellectuals love the president's brainless rhetoric.

Republicans who favor Newt Gingrich over Mitt Romney are making a big mistake, New York Times conservative Ross Douthat argues in an extraordinarily interesting column. Support for Gingrich, Douthat argues, arises from "a desperate desire to somehow beat Barack Obama at his own game, and to explode what conservatives consider the great fantasy of the 2008 campaign--the conceit that Obama possessed an unmatched brilliance and an unprecedented eloquence."

That is a mistake, Douthat argues, because everybody has already figured out that the emperor is unclad:
It isn't 2008 anymore, and conservatives don't actually need to explode the fantasy of Obama's eloquence and omnicompetence. The harsh reality of governing has already done that for them. Nobody awaits the president's speeches with panting anticipation these days, or expects him to slay his opponents with the power of his intellect. Obamamania peaked with the inauguration, and it's been ebbing ever since.

Are you asking why the whiney righties NEVER asked WHY Bush was such a lousy president and continue to display their hypocrisrsy here?

The Democrats want us all at the same level and apparently everyone that owns a business didn't make that happen, someone else did. I personally lean more to the right, if Obama gets re-elected this country is ****ed.
The unemployment rate is the highest its ever been. Stop blaming Bush for everything our president has failed to do.
When are Americans, we the people going to unbury our heads out of our asses?

I don't know you mean by "the Democrats want us at the same level.". There isn't any evidence of that.

It is also well established that businesses don't operate in a vacuum and rely upon public services. That was the point Obama was making that the GOP made a mountain out of a mole hill over. It's really not a controversial idea.

Unemployment hit 10.2% under Reagan and was 25% during the Depression. What I think is that you have your head already buried.

With Alter's devotion to credibility and facts in mind, let's take an empirical, reality-based look at economic life in America during the Age of Obama:
• Under Obama's stewardship, we have lost 2.2 million jobs. He is now on track to have the worst jobs record of any president in the modern era.

• The unemployment rate stands at 9.1 percent. Chronic unemployment is worse than during the Great Depression.

• The youth employment rate is at the lowest level since records were first kept in 1948.

• The share of the eligible population holding a job has declined to the lowest level since the early 1980s.

• The housing crisis is worse than in the Great Depression. (Home values are worth roughly one-third less than they were five years ago.)

• The rate of economic growth under Obama has been only slightly higher than the Great Depression decade. From the first quarter of 2010 through the first quarter of 2011, we experienced five consecutive quarters of slowing growth.

• Fiscal year 2011 will mark the third straight year with deficits in excess of $1 trillion.

• During the Obama presidency, America has increased its debt by $4 trillion.

• America saw its credit rating downgraded for the first time in history under the Obama presidency.

• Consumer confidence has plunged to the lowest level since the Carter presidency.

• The number of people in the U.S. who are in poverty is on track for a record increase on President Obama's watch, with the ranks of working-age poor approaching 1960s levels that led to the national war on poverty.

• A record number of Americans (44.5 million) now rely on the federal government's food stamps program.
Feel free to add to President Obama's Greatest Failures list.

The first two years: A Chronicle of Obama's Failures.
I think one of the biggest reasons Obama is an awful President is his attitude. He is very arrogant as well as a liar.

I still go back to the night, on national tv, when he said he didnt know all the facts but a police department acted stupidly. That right there sums up the attitude of Obama, and frankly, reason enough not to vote for the guy. Along with, of course, the state of the nation and the economy.

His attitude towards the press is another thing that is telling. If they dont kiss his rear end, he gets upset. He is thin skinned and hates to be challenged. And telling local reporters what to ask... is this not the United States of America anymore?

If being a civil rights attorney, professor, and award-winning, best-selling author -- earning millions of dollars qualifies as "never lived in the real world," what does, exactly? Obama has earned more in the private sector than most of us ever will in their entire lives.
