Wanting gay people to be treated anything other than equal is anti-gay in my book, just like wanting people of color to be treated anything but equal to whites was and is racist.
Bigots are usually blind to their own hate.

Note that I did not take a stance on it.
A straight person can marry the person they are in love with. A gay person cannot do that in most places in the world. That is unequal.

Sorry, nim. Marrying the person you love is not a legal right for anyone.

I don't really care if same-sex couples want to get legally married or not. Be warned, though. Marriage is often a bed of thorns, not roses. Being legally bound in marriage to another person is a rocky road, as often as not, and fraught with problems than can make you question your sanity for ever having legalized the relationship. One hell of a lot of divorce lawyers are going to get a lot of new business.

I hear that Republicans are kinkier when it comes on to sex. Their scandals confirm this.

And kids in schools were a lot safer back then. They didn't have to worry about the kid next to him hiding a gun under his jacket.

Do you mean "bigots" like Pres. Obama (who opposes homosexual "marriage")?

Actually it is based on legal precedent, and this has been pointed out to you before.

And ironically, places which allow gay marriage have lowered their divorce rates.
