Same guys who had to re figger their data a few years ago because it was all wrong. Guess they just press on since the lies had no consequences last time around.

I love how those who reject peer reviewed science try and spin this as some well orchestrated "conspiracy", where scientists of every race, religion, and language found on the planet are somehow conspiring together.

It speaks volumes of the paranoia found amongst conservatives, but even more tellingly, it speaks volumes to the shocking ignorance of the American conservative. This phenomenon is unique to the United States.

Here's your sign.

we will keep them out somehow — even if we have to redefine what the peer-review literature is
This plus my experience in academia is sufficient to believe the peer review process is quite corrupt. It's not a conspiracy. It's a logical path to take in order to lock out fresh ideas.

You are not making any sense. If the vast majority of these scientists ARE IN AGREEMENT, if they are all WRONG, if they KNOW they are wrong yet are conspiring TOGETHER to mislead the WORLD, it would be a HUGE conspiracy.

Of course, such a scenario is absurd unless you are one of the loons who does not believe in science and think your eyes are lying and there are no consequences to the use of fossil fuels.

And there are millions of conservatives who believe that.

Here's your sign.

It's not a conspiracy if there's a mutually beneficial interest to publishing junk. If it gets you grant money, secures tenure, and achieves a particular goal and everyone agrees these goals are to their own personal benefit, there will be a consensus.

Now you know these people would turn down $billions of dollars, put themselves out of a job and starve themselves to death so long as long as they could sya they were right.

You're digging yourself in even deeper. Do continue.

NO CONSPIRACY is now what you are saying, and that there is some scientific dogma that makes 90-95% of climate scientists lie about their research.

Only in a conservatives mind does any of that make sense.

Here's your sign.

You can have your sign back since I don't need it.

Is there a chance that you haven't heard about, let alone read about how that peer review stuff works? Just yesterday I listened to the interview of the man who wrote the book about how you can tell political bias among the media. Well now when three Harvard professors who were the review board for that book sent it to a group of peers to rate the book they got not one answer back that was negative. I guess peers aren't always liberals, like you, but in the case of global warming they sure as hell were.
