Of course, such a scenario is absurd unless you are one of the loons who does not believe in science and think your eyes are lying and there are no consequences to the use of fossil fuels.

And there are millions of conservatives who believe that.

Here's your sign.
I see, now, that you don't know how many of those so-called peers happen to work at jobs where a lot of their money comes from grants of money from the UN.

You can have that sign back, also.

I'd bet the GOPs "War on science" also ends up being a big flop too. Unfortunately stupid, in this case, can end up hurting more than just those who adhere to such buffonary.

I am afraid you have no idea what constitutes good science if you are a believer in man made global warming from CO2 emissions. If there is a percieved "war", it is upon the ignorant taking "action", which may be detrimental to the economy and the environment, for an entity which has not been proven to exist. That is a "war" on ignorance and gullibility.

the problem with a lot of "peer reviewed" papers is that if it doesnt conform to what the panel of "peers" believes, then it is turned down. as for the global warming issue to begin with, a large majority of the recorded temperatures that were published were inflated when they didnt match the theory that global warming was man made. and since the raw data was expunged, there is no way to tell what temperature readings were modified, and which ones werent. and that alone invalidates ALL of the readings.
