I think they did plenty on that flood but if you took their word for it the thing is all over and nothing is left to be done, but some clean up. Highways were destroyed by it along with crops out the wazoo but not much was told about all that.
Hey, thanks for that link. It seems that some of those old boys are ready to declare war on Obama and the whole bunch. If the flood control projects of yore had been constructed this one wouldn't have been so severe. Of course, the Engineers would prefer constructing lakes and other means of having a good time. I bet that Obama will never hear about that meeting today or will he pay any attention to it if he does. He will get a lot more good out of this hurricane than he will from that flood. Many more people involved to vote for him.
They could try reporting responsibly, but I don't think they are capable. It's worthy of about 15-20 seconds of air-time, not two hours of grand sensationalism.
Weather is probably the easiest way for the media to derail the simplistic American mind from real problems.
The next time a 9/11 event happens, I don't want the national news outlets to cover it then. I don't live in New York or Washington. No threat to me.
Well if Obama plays his cards right and the media keeps spinning the doom and gloom he may yet be able to blame the economy on this hurricane. That is after all the marching orders put out I'm sure. Hell he's blamed everyone and everything else why not a hurricane. It's quite obvious he is manipulating the weather and causing all these problems. Heck Bush was seen under the levee planting bombs don't you folks remember after Katrina?? Old loopie Louie even said he have the goods on him.
Well hell, he has blamed our economy failure on the Japanese earthquake and tsunami and every other natural thing he can find to blame for it so surely he can blame this one for the economic problems. I do wonder when he will get around to mentioning the Missouri River flood as part of the reason for failure of the stimulus.

Did you fail to see the videos about the professor that has written the book about how to judge the media purely liberal? You need to see that one. Whats the left wing media you speak of? The Bush administration got a two year free pass after 9/11 to do whatever they wanted to, and George Bush was seen as great and awesome. Hell he even got to finish his daddys war because he had such a free pass.
The point is, the media isn't hyping this up for Obama anymore then they hyped up 9/11 for the Bush administration.
