A FOIA request is not a public record. It is a request.

Using an online database search is not a FOIA request.

Here. This is what a FOIA request looks like.
What do you think a FOIA request generates?

A successful request generates a release of information.

An unsuccessful request generates a denial to release the information.

And there are a lot of unsuccessful requests.

Please go ahead and post the necessary information, deemed public, (including your DOB and SSN) so I can look up your information and see if it is available. All that is public record after all, no?

You never did respond....so what does FOIA request generate if it doesn't generate public records? You're stuck.

Vague. Just what I expected.

The fact of the matter is that FOIA requests for Selective Service information occurs every day. You can even see the FOIA logs online. It is you and your alllies on this thread who have it wrong. If a person wants to get Selective Service information, it can be done. For you to suggest otherwise is outrageous. I believe you know it too.

Again... you need to be more patient before you pull that trigger.

What would I need to see your records? Considering it all to be designed for public domain (easily visible to all), I'm sure you won't mind sharing the necessary information? Thank you.

I'm afraid any time available was spent between turning off the TV/radio that was used for "information" to logging onto a computer.

And sometimes they generate a positive response, and sometimes they generate a denial.

Here...i'll even make it easier for you to comprehend.

Requests for information under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) shall be in writing and should be addressed to the Director, Selective Service System, ATTN: Records Manager, Washington, DC 20435.

What type of information do you think they're going to pass out? Current mortgage interest rates?
