So, what, we should go ahead and destroy the economy? Starve most of us to death so they won't have to worry about it? Pay double or triple for the energy we need to live a civilized life? Go back to subsistence agriculture and live nasty, short and brutish lives?

Or maybe we should continue to develop the economy and expand our wealth so that we will have the resources to deal with the ever-changing climate, more than 4 billion years into "change."

You do know that, before there was oxygen in the atmosphere, Earth supported sulfur-based life forms, that pretty much disappeared when the environment changed? Good thing there was no sulfur-based Al Gore who worked to prevent the change.

are you serious? china puts out more CO2 than we do, they passed us a couple of years ago. also the ONLY country that has met the kyoto and montreal protocols is the US, and WE DIDNT SIGN THEM. nice try but you fail.
