It's a strange phenomenon. They claim to "speak for the people" but when they get back home "their people" chew them a new arse and tell them they like their social programs.

That doesn't sound like the TP has the support of most Americans. Of course you'll just say that it's liberal media drivel and that the Tea Party will sweep next year's elections, but when many of my conservative friends think the Tea Party's crazy, that tells me something--and I have some VERY conservative friends.

But keep living in your dream world, for all I care. meh.
Not to mention this was rightmassen poll.

Tea Party is growing in both political parties.
Stop the out of control spending.
Lower and pay off national debt.
Shrink government.
Lower expectations that government is the sollution for your life.
Be more fiscally conservative with our money.

Not outrageous except to people dependent on the dole and politicians wanting power.

Delusions of grandeur. It's embarassing to watch, but you just can't look away.

According to the TP. They're the ones who keep slapping the RINO label on anyone on the right who disagrees with them. So logically, they think they're the only "true" Republicans. I do understand that there's a difference between conservatives/Republicans and Tea Partiers. Conservatives are the sane ones--or saner, at least.

No one speaks for everyone.
The Tea Party folks just want fiscal responsibility and much more limited government.
Government is pretty dysfunctional once it gets past our military killing and breaking things. Better to have less of it and keep far more of the money it sucks out of wallets with the people who earned it.

LOL! We will see at the next election. But, I'm sure when they win even more seats, you will spin it that their destruction has been sealed and that they are hated more than the devil now.
