The tea party wants to jump all over welfare and other social programs but not a peep about this.
Why can't the Usa stop sending them money? We have our priorites all wrong it seems. We would rather let AMERICANS go hungry rather than stop sending other nations OUR money?
I know about the pledge the US signed to protect them, but why can't they stand on their own?
We never signed any pledge to protect Israel. We just act as though we did.

Also, while I find the $2 billion or $3 billion a year to Israel unconscionable for many reasons, it's not more than welfare spending. The food stamp program alone cost $7.3 billion in 2010 (http://http://money.cnn.com/galleries/2011/news/1104/gallery.meanest_budget_cuts/3.html - broken link).

Trying to wrap my head around this one.

I'm not anti semetic. I just think maybe we could cut off funding for a few years until we can afford it.
Republicans are hypocrites!

83 of our representatives went to Israel on their month-long vacation. Obviously, we do more than just buy them weapons. Maybe our elected officials are getting their orders from them?

Google it.

I might add that much of our military aid to Israel is a part of the peace accord between Egypt and Israel that Carter brokered. Essentially we bribed the two countries with military equipment to make peace and stay at peace with each other.
New Jersey had more millionaires than any other state. Google it.
Yeah,we are one of the richest states,so being brain dead we are doing something right.

Had? So you no longer have more millionaires?

I won't argue with your claim.
