Sure, all government officials are honest and trustworthy...

Until they either open their mouths, put pen to paper or let their fingers touch a keypad or keyboard...

Never said us against them. That's how you chose to interpret it. Them as in they are in office and we are not, unless a poster ends up being one who works in the Federal government and then he/she can say me instead of them.
