Do you trust the Federal government?

If so, what makes you have confidence?

If not, what is it that keeps you from trusting them?

Sure, all government officials are honest and trustworthy...

Until they either open their mouths, put pen to paper or let their fingers touch a keypad or keyboard...

So the government is a "them"?

So it's "us" against "them"?

Except "us" voted "them" into office....

Never said us against them. That's how you chose to interpret it. Them as in they are in office and we are not, unless a poster ends up being one who works in the Federal government and then he/she can say me instead of them.
