Stands up and puts them in their place.

This was AWESOME.

See, the union plan was to gather as many union thugs as possible and descend on these school board meetings and protest the changes being implemented due to Walker's Act 10 CB law.

Oh, they thought they'd just go and cause trouble, make noise and attempt to bully the boards into capitulating to their demands.

Didn't quite turn out that way, though.

The taxpayers, the ones who have been on the hook to the unions for years have finally had enough.

They and union thugs (from out of district to) filled the facility to capacity.

New Berlin School Board OKs new handbook - JSOnline

Quote:
After teachers spoke, a citizen took the microphone and said he represented the 5.5 million taxpayers in Wisconsin who were in favor of Walker doing what he was elected to do.

Applause broke out in the auditorium as the teachers and union supporters sat silent. They walked out before the man was finished speaking.
And in another district, Burlington, taxpayers came out to vote down a tax increase the board was trying to push through. THIS board failed to use all the tools Walker had given it, instead they were more interested in the welfare of the unions.

Quote:
The district already cut about $2.6 million by leaving open positions vacant, switching to a new health insurance carrier with higher co-payments and deductibles and having employees contribute 5.8 percent toward their state retirement instead of the zero percent they contributed previously.
Why, those poor union members. Now instead of "free" retirement (taxpayer funded), they have to pitch in 6% of their own money - a totally unreasonable demand.

This is happening all over the state of WI. Some districts hurried to rush through contract extensions with the unions before the Walker law took effect. Seems the only interest they were looking out for was the union's.

I don't know how many more defeats the Left/unions can take before they realize the public is NOT on their side.

Outstanding! In the words of Admiral Yamamoto, "I fear we have awakened a sleeping giant, and filled him with a terrible resolve". Gotta be how these union thugs feel now that tax payers are starting to wake up to the abuse they have taken for so long.

And it seems that tax payers all over Wisconsin have seen the light and are ready to do battle with the unions.

Have you heard that the parade in Wasau will have Republican polls in attendance, after all?

You know, as a self-employed person I pay for my own retirement and health care. My wife works for a non-profit that is part of Cal-Pers and pays something like 10% of her income towards her retirement and adds another 15% of her income to a deferred comp plan.

These union sponges might try being just a little bit more reasonable with their demands because people like us will not support them.

If union thugs can't get the job done, maybe they need to start bringing in biker gangs and mafia enforcers. Let's see the tax payers try to deal with them.

Liberals should face the music. America is changing, and unions are no longer part of the Master Plan.

Sorry for your luck, folks.
