I wouldn't put it on a doctor either but he can probably discern whether counseling is indicated by asking a few leading questions. A licensed family counselor with no dog in the fight and who can lead the girl/woman/whichever to make the "best" decision would be my choice.

Have you ever met a person who thinks all pregnancies should be aborted?

I mingle with a mostly liberal crowd and have never heard this viewpoint.

Can you cite the posts that have stated that abortion is the only option?

Oh ya just have to go to her anti-choice/anti-abortion website and they'll probably present "facts" like "Many libs feel it is the only way"....making it a 'fact"...

I wrote many not most. Look at the web site for yourself.

Have your friends said anything good about a woman who wanted to keep the baby but could not afford to?

LOL, it's not MY web site. It's about women who are forced to abort. No compassion for them it seems.

I've missed a lot of posts on this thread but.... have you ever.... ever understood and accepted as her legal right to choose and make the choice to have an abortion?

I can tell you this much, I've respected whatever decision the lady has made!

That is the point of this thread!! Many never chose to abort. I am tired of retyping this. It was not their decision---it was the unchoice. Read the topic---go into the web site.

The unchoice I see is that from the right that want to force the woman to give birth or from the recent legislation I've seen intimidate the woman to give birth.

I'll let it go at that.

Center Against Forced Abortions | The Justice Foundation

Here is some help for women who are being forced. For the women on here that may be or might be in these circumstances in the future.
