I never said you did, I said you wondered why adoption got a bad rap BUT YOU said in another thread that it was hard to adopt! You are talking in circles...

"" It's too bad it's not easier but those who want to adopt will do what is necessary and jump through hoops.""

SO WHY HAVEN'T YOU? THERE ARE CHILDREN WAITING FOR ADOPTION.

"""Yes, many people NEED to adopt outside the country since there is not many babies here with the high abortion rate. 1 in 4 pregnancies end in abortion. You may wait a long time to adopt here. Some people get lucky and find a child sooner than others do. It's all in luck and when and how a woman wants to let her baby be adopted.
You sure don't make adopting out a child seem a good alternative.

I posted it was better than death. I think it is a good alternative for women and a good solution. Abortion is too many times just the beginning of a life of heartache for the women. It's not the easy solution many would claim. One forced abortion leads to others.

Sondra Locke

Sondra Locke states that she was coerced by Clint Eastwood to have two abortions. I wonder what would have happened if she had said, "no"? I had an experience with an ex husband, who told me he would leave me if I did not have an abortion. I was fine with that, he could leave. What is interesting to me, is that the child, he did not want, is now the light of his life...

NO, you posted that adoption was hard in one thread and then in another you posted you didn't know why adoption got a bad rap.....from your altering of other's quoted posts to your "denials" of what you said obviously honesty is not YOUR best policy!

Some men just need to be shoved into growing up. Seems they are perpetual babies and want to be taken care of but women need to kick some in the butt. I see it so much.

I don't know why you can't make the leap of understanding. Adoption is hard now when they are so many abortions and the bad rap it is getting. Let women decide to have the baby and let it be adopted, quit telling them it is bad, then adoption will get easier. Adoption is not a bad choice.

Coerced abortion is a subject that seldom sees the light of day. If, as another thread asserts, 81% of women who have abortions eventually have some psychological issues, then it is certainly understandable that any women who succumbs to pressure to have an abortion when she is conflicted about it, would also feel a lot of long-lasting guilt. Abortion is sometimes a lose-lose situation (as carrying an unwanted pregnancy to term can also be.)

Seems simple to me. If you're pregnant and don't want an abortion, don't have one.
