"The Electric Reliability Council of Texas, operator of the state's power grid, said in a report today that a new federal environmental regulation would reduce generating capacity and put the grid "at increasing risk of emergency events," including rotating power outages."
Telling them about what has been done to Texas in an attempt to keep one promise (price of electricity will skyrocket) won't allow them to think about what the EPA has done. THEIR filters are on full operation and things like that just can't get through.

Well, maybe a fat footnote showing how THEY were grasping at straws to find something good.

On this one, I think he is slowly starting to get it.
He knew that regulation at this time, would point the finger at him, though.... I'm torn

Now isn't that one humdinger of a reason to start acting rational for once?
You know, I hear people say the played out "How's that Hopey-Changey stuff working out for you?". It's not. Because it hasn't happened. The right wing media can scream about "ZOMG CLASSWAREFARE SOCIALISM REDISTRUBITIONOFWEALTH MARXISTCOMMUNISTLIBERALCZARS" all they want. But its totally made up. Obama's policies, are Bush's policies. He's doing the same failed bull**** any other figurehead talks about. Other than mending the US's relationship with countries the Cowboy Wannabe President screwed up, there's little difference, I think, between Obamas Presidency, and McCains possible Presidency, and that's a shame. He had alot to offer, and had a different, more complex way of thinking than most politicians, but he just ended up being just a cog in the machine...

Obama leads or I should say governs by polls. He has no firmly held convictions that's why all this talk of him being a socialist is laughable. He'd be Atilla the Hun if he thought it would buy him 4 more years and more power.

This particular move is someone silly from the people most likely to cheer the decision are not going to vote for him anyway and those who are against are his base supporters. Well they were his supporters.
