Where are the calls to your congress person to revoke the holiday that is to honor those oh-so-evil *GASP!* labor union workers?

For the same reason that the left does not protest the 4th of July.

Default Why Is The Right Not Protesting Labor Day?

Because they need a day off. They are doing the work of two people, taking care of the other half who don't work.

Hummmm....

Go to any store today and see if you get service....how about McDonalds, or Belk, Sears, or any mall....any store actually.

I'll bet you get service, but wait, who is off? Will we receive our mail today?

The only reason I'm not working today is because the government is off...I'm a contractor (working for the government) and cannot be at work unless a person from the government is there....

They are too busy to protest, they are down at the Wallmart/Target/Kohls, picking over the cheap Chinese made goods that are on sale today.

Getting paid for it, no less! I'm getting paid for not working today, so is my DH, and my DD.

Christmas is a federal holiday. Easter is not, and most people do not work on Sundays.

Though it is enjoyable, I asked a very valid question which the right so far have absolutely no responses besides going into full blown ignorant mode with the attacks.[/quote]We don't protest Labor Day because doing so would be pointless. We work hard and enjoy a day off just like anyone else. People who squander an opportunity to relax and/or get chores done by lining up like so many lemmings to march in a Labor Day protest (against what only heaven knows, they've got it damned good and still they're apparently unhappy) must not need the break.

You said of the questions above that they are very valid questions. I ask the people here, are these valid questions or a silly leftist rant that makes no sense but to cause conflict? Personally I see them for what they really are. My God do you think that anyone "would march down to a Police or Fire Station and call them lazy greedy union bums that are sucking the country dry." Come on lady you know darn well you are doing nothing here but trying to cause conflict.
