I guess you just can't trust these Republican financed polling people, can you? Rasmussen continues to say weekly that a majority of people want that horrendous thing repealed.
Oh, they report all those who don't want it to happen but there aren't enough of them to overcome the majority that wants repeal. This week 57% say to repeal. Wasn't that the same kind of majority that elected Obama?

I don't think it will ever be fully implemented as it is written (ie: everyone must buy health insurance), but It won't be totally repealed either since some things have already been implemented. It will be interesting to see what will happen.
Rephrase the question as "do you want to reinstate pre-existing conditions?"
That might change the numbers some. Also, many liberals don't like "Obamacare" and want single payer.
Yup.
It will be reworked, reworded, and rebranded and once it's not called "Obamacare" people will be ok with it. It still won't be enough though. Single payer is the only way to go if you want reform.

If we can't have reform without single payer I fear that we are too near that socialist system he promised us he would establish. Why can't people understand that once you have single payer, and that payer is the government, you have bureaucrats totally in charge of the whole thing? How many doctors will have to just draw back and quit for people to see that most of them don't want untrained bureaucrats giving them orders? How many medical schools will have to cease existence because nobody wants to work that way?
Either I don't understand single payer or too many people are ready for that kind of system where the government is in control of all we do.

You can rephrase the question "do you want a mandate that everyone carry insurance". The mandate is the linchpin of this law, without it the whole thing crumbles. The provision that a insurance company has to give you insurance is just smoke and mirrors.

Yet it has worked all over the world.
