Our troubles have only begun
But that doesn't bother "The One"
One more "pivot to jobs"
Should placate the mobs
While he parties and golfs and has fun.
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
First we need a leader who believes this, then the people will be encouraged.
When we have a leader who has become wishy washy with God, Mayor of New York forbidding God to be apart of 9/11, Pelosi afraid to say what "The Word" is.................................... HE has got to be feeling a little left out.
Can I talk to you about a lovely bridge I have for sale in Brooklyn?
Will they be rolling one out soon, where they hiding these allegedly better candidates?
That bridge is over 100 years old and sits right in the middle of the city that is number one to be blown up Sunday morning. I think I will wait a day or two before I talk to you about your bridge you have.
If you can get to Washington D.C. shortly do so-----that way you have take some valuable pictures shortly. Can yourself some nice congressional portraits for your home---they will become collectors items shortly. Most of those pictured will be employed in some other occupation shortly----so get the photos for fond memories.
To those of you in Congress and possibly the President, enjoy your next year in office------keep the places in your districts, because by and large you will be returning.
My Congressman will be returning after winning without any competition. His voters know that he says what he will do and then does it.
The numbers for Congress are far worse. The acknowledgment that Bush is the cause of current economic problems remains high. Disapproval of the GOP is extraordinarily high. Disapproval of a GOP-led Congress is climbing at 83%.
You Pubs can't get away from the plain and simple fact that you are detrimental to this country. In the meantime, President Obama's ratings are essentially unchanged over the last 18 months even with all the GOP/tea party crap he's had to deal with.
Another meaningless post.
The approval rating for Congress was even lower when Democrats were in control.
Polls mean nothing at this point, remember Bush 41 lost the election with a 69% approval rating....
Not on election day.
Gallup had Bush Sr. at 34% and trending upward on October 15th, 1992. The next poll was on November 22, and that poll had him at 43%. It's safe to say his real approval rate on election day was somewhere between those two numbers and nowhere near 69%.
I feel bad for him I truly do. I want him to do well since if he does well the country does well.
Damn, I wish that were true. I would send Michelle a red dress, some fancy wine, and a copy of the Kama Sutra, and say GET BUSY first lady! The Dow Jones would rise 2000 the next morning!
