Who else thinks gender is played up by society? What is Lady Gaga trying to express? Does she think she would be more successful as a man? #sexism

Lady Gaga? This generation's Madona. Moderate talent, doing everything possible to get attention. Seems to be working.

She's done it all, costume wise. Why is this any different. She's just doing her gimmick. I wouldn't read into it.

Not to get too far off topic, but Lady Gaga is far more talented than Madonna. (Madonna's business sense was her strongest point.)

Lady Gaga is a classically-trained pianist and a strong vocalist, which isn't done any favors by her pop-type stuff, but it is catchy and it sells.

Check out this clip of her acoustic "Paparazzi"

I generally wouldn't call her ultra-talented, but within her niche (Britney Spears, etc) she is far and away the best. She writes all her songs, both lyrics and music.

The same could be said about Elton John, in his hayday.
