Well then I'm sure you're thrilled with Obama right now.
What's your opinion on his extended tax cuts, his corporate welfare bill masked as health care reform and the 3 additional free trade bills he's ready to sign?
100% agree. Obama is Bush 3.0
Count me as one of the suckers that thought we'd get troops home etc. etc.
As long as the government doesn't have to pay for the programs. They had 12 years of free education. Many vocational programs were available.
Most people in business know that any form of unskilled job training is a joke. They want people that come to work everyday, ontime, and sober. They will train them.
Totally disagree. In this climate and considering many of the manufacturing jobs are gone, employers are looking for sometype of educational discipline. H.S Diploma or GED often is not enough. Internal training cost and these companies are looking to keep their overhead down. If the long term unemployed are having a hard time finding employement, what makes you believe it will be any easier for a long term welfare recipient?
If this is true, then why are businesses whining about not finding about skilled people to do a job?
Furthermore, why are 25 million people still under/unemployed if that is true?

I never understood WHY...There are so many in this country that have tech degrees and certificates. These companies DO NOT have to reach out to India or other countries for resources. The notation that there aren't enough in the Pool here is crap. You have schools in the Northeast area that focus mainly on the Technical field. I'm sure the same could be said for schools across the U.S.
