They always ignore that question.
That question has already been answered on this thread.

Reading is fundamental.

WTC7, on the other hand, not so much.
I don't think people realize that when those buildings went down it shook the earth (and surrounding buildings) like an earthquake would. A friend of our family worked in the American Express building very close to the towers. As he evacuated he noted cracks appearing in the walls of the stairwell.(Basically the building was starting to fail and come apart) Luckily he made it out but the building was later demolished.

The USGS did measure the effects of each tower falling. It was the equivalent of an earthquake..twice.

As someone with a PhD in Structural Engineering, Ive seen enough papers on this to know there is no conspiracy.

Well I certainly don't agree with this... recall the Gulf of Tonkin incident... by your standards no one would have questioned... but in fact it was a government lie... Need we mention WMD's? W's interest in catching Bin Laden? Regans..inflation is better, Repugs want small government, election of 2000, I am not a crook, I did not have sexual relations with that woman,

I contend a good government would not lie to its people....

.....and when it does it must be held accountable.

I spent many a day in the World Trade Center. To me, the public elevators all located in the center of the buildings had something to do with the quick collapse of the buildings, basically a straight shot from bottom to top.

B/4 everyone jumps all over me, I am not an engineer, this is just my observation.

So can you explain the collapse of WTC7, or should I be like many of the people on this thread and just take your word for it?

A & E had a documentary about just that, as it was done to maximize acreage per floor, but was the cost less ability to "hang on" long enough, and also to inadvertently aid and abett spreading the fire across all ewscape routes? That is not a conspiracy, but perhaps $ to the builders/management team = more lives lost.

Yeah!

They couldn't have come down with explosives.

It takes an airplane to bring down buildings that size.

Everyone knows this.

It's the same as saying injecting mercury, squalene and aluminum into your bloodstream causes problems.

It doesn't!

Everyone knows this.

Is there a rational explanation for the collapse of WTC 7?

There is no explanation "rational" enough to satisfy anyone who would feel compelled to ask the question.
