Thank you for clearly spelling out what I have been saying for so long. Socialism is going to happen in this country. Real socialism, not this faux, "I don't understand Polisci 101 and I believe Obama is a socialist" type socialism.

If businesses continue to keep this attitude, you just watch.

"Do liberals realize that speeches don't create jobs?"

I do, which is why I never listen to a speech by a Republican/Reactionary/Teabagger claiming that tax cuts and deregulation will create any.

It is what he is speaking about that could create some jobs. I can easily say the same thing when it comes to the right side, whining does not create jobs. Where are the rights ideas for jobs? Don;t bother with the same old ideas coming from your masters, giving the the rich even more tax breaks does not create jobs, nor does cutting out regulations that protect the citizens of this nation. That said, only Socialists think it is the JOB of the government to create or provide the citizens with jobs, that is a private sector function so if you have an issue with it ask the many Big Businesses out there why they are sitting on Billions in cash and not investing it in reasearch and production, meaning Jobs.

Barry passing around his pamphlet and demanding that the Congress take him seriously doesn't create jobs.

What the hell is trickle up poverty? Are you actually suggesting that poverty is Obama's fault? Are you actually suggesting that poor people are dragging down the wealthy? Are you blaming the poor people for a lack of jobs? (OK, you're suggesting Obama's plan is to make everyone poor, I get it).

The wealthy who managed to have everything distributed to them in the last ten years thanks in large part to the Bush tax cuts are now sitting on their corporate boards crying foul because they're taxed too much, regulated too much, and don't have the incentive to part with their money enough to hire Americans. But they like to hire foreigners, yes they do. They are holding the country hostage and won't create jobs until we turn everything over to them.

And you're buying into that sham and blaming Obama. I don't envy him the job of President and unlike most, I don't blame him for the lack of jobs. It's not part of the job description anyway.

Obama's centrist rhetoric is being ignored by a public that perceives itself to be deeply divided. The only part of that division that's real is the economic one. The country has no middle class, only the masses of workers and the happy hundreds of elite overlords. All other divisions are manufactured to cloud this economic reality and help the elite 'conquer' by dividing us into opposing factions.

I feel like Sinead O'Connor on SNL when she tore up a picture of the Pope screaming "Fight the real enemy". Yes, our government is to blame but mostly because it's a front for the elite. If we give in to the elite's destructive demands, we will lose everything. We should gather together, rely on our families, friends, and communities, and strike as a nation. Tell the rich we're in charge by hitting them in the pocketbook. Will they listen when everything grinds to a halt after two weeks?

The right's idea is for the private sector to create jobs. The left's are "shovel ready projects" which include things like building traffic circles with palm tress in Maine, high speed rail of which rail transportation has nearly 0 demand and would offer no return for the economy, and paying someone $500,000 to fix a 2" x 2" pothole in a dirt road somewhere in Oklahoma.

Then explain why on earth the right keeps blaming the job situation on Obama.
First off creating work which as result will repair much of our road and bridge systems is a good idea, people will be employed and the nation is improved in the process, amazing that anyone would be against that. When it comes to spending money unwisely neither Party is innocent, so let's not go there, all I have to do is point to Billions in military spending that cannot be accounted for and the argument can go on for weeks.

I will say the lack of jobs IS Obama's fault.

However, I will also say that is what he wants....he was plain about that.

It's clear to see who knows how to create jobs, and who only is out to bankroll the rich.
The estimate was between 1.8 and 2.5.....unsurprisingly, you pick the higher estimate. I take it you understand what an estimate is?

Now, here's a math conundrum - how does one "create or save" 1.8-2.5 million jobs while at the SAME TIME losing 2.4 million jobs, which is how many have been lost since obama took over?

$900 billion in spending cuts out of $877 Billion stimulus? Wow! Now that's some new kind of obama math right there.
