You see birds fly into em and go splat. Well we must ban windows. Here is one dire tale...........

“We’ve been taking care of her for ten years now and will take care of her for the rest of her life because she has vision problems as a result of that crack with the glass wind break.”

I'm sure next up on the agenda will by state funded eye care for birds that meet up with these evil windows. Meanwhile these same loons keep erecting giant windmills that shred up birds, bats etc and don't blink an eye.

All they have to do is post photos of San Fran Nan in the windows and the entire migratory pattern will shift away from the city.

Let's build dams and turn rivers into concrete canals and laugh at the salmon trying to swim upstream. Let's watch ships of garbage dump their haul in the open ocean like it's our toilet. Let's allow toxic chemical outflow through high smokestacks to put it up in the air where we won't be responsible for it anymore. Hell, who needs nature when we can just pave over it and build glass towers for birds to crash into!

Catering to the needs of the natural world is such a nuisance for the species that specializes in its destruction. Is there some reason why we give the rest of the world a middle finger?

This ordinance only applies to new construction. I think the effort is somewhat unmanageable but if the product keeps birds from going kamikaze, why not? My former employer's three story mostly glass office building confused hundreds of birds each year, killing them all. If we can avoid that problem, why not?

Their lifestyle, people vote for these law makers.
What I don't understand is why post and ***** about what other cities are doing all day long?

Is it not the local residents responsibility to care most about it?

I know it's fun for some to sit on there ass all day and ***** about another part of the country, from hundreds if not thousands of miles away but seriously?
Should anybody outside of California, or for that matter San Francisco care?

San Francisco and even the whole state has some whacky laws/proposals, but judging by how population votes, (The Proposals, The Law Makers) they obviously do not care, or maybe they are happy?

I just don't see why this in this forum and why anybody outside of California should care.
