I used to get riled up when hearing republicans say that "Bush is smart", and "we are winning the war", and "mission accomplished". Now I just laugh because they are just trying to insult my intellingence.
I used to play Devil's advocate a lot when my language skills were more honed just to have a good argument but I just got tired of all the aggravation and found that arguing for the sake of it was just plain silly and a complete waste of time.
Making people angry just because I can gives me no pleasure.

If you do, you are engaging in narcissistic behavior. Narcissists want people to defend themselves. They don't just attend social functions - they preside over them.
Not unless they are saying stupid political carp first then I say something and they shut right up since they aren't used to being challenged
