I have an idea for job creation. But for NYers, it would require relocating down south and southwest.

We could hire "greeters" to stand at the border of Mexico and hand out blankets, a cold soda, and a hot sandwich to the illegals pouring over the border. There could also be ID stands where the illegals could get their driver's license or ID card right then and there. That oughta create a lot of jobs, don't you think?

Doubtful. The unemployed are too docile. There probably won't even be a peaceful march on Washington. Is that why they call Americans "sheeple?"

Unemployed AMERICANS may be too docile to riot however Bloomberg and others are taking care of that problem by making friendly havens to countless illegal foreigners who likely will riot at the drop of a hat.

From the link and Bloomberg is correct.

Quote:
Bloomberg's unusually alarmist pronouncement came as President Obama has been pressuring reluctant Republicans to pass his proposed job creation plan.

"The damage to a generation that can't find jobs will go on for many, many years," the normally-measured mayor said.

Bloomberg gave Obama kudos for coming up with a jobs plan.

"At least he's got some ideas on the table, whether you like those or not," he said. "Now everybody's got to sit down and say we're actually gonna do something and you have to do something on both the revenue and the expense side."

And everybody's got to share in the pain.

Have you read the "jobs bill"? This will do next to nothing to put the average unemployed youngster straight out of highschool or college into a job. It does payback several of his donor chronies and supporters as well as creating new government bureaucracies.

Winning! NOT! It is more of the same failed CRAP we saw with the first two failed stimuli. Perhaps you should read the 150+ page text.

Have you read the Republican jobs bill? Huh? Huh? Oh, that's right...there never was one and never will be. Maybe that is why their approval ratings are in the toilet.

I think that is exactly what he is beginning to do. You know, the way that Cass Sunstein says you do at the proper time.

I believe that the House of Representatives has suggested some things in some of the bills they have sent to the Senate. Of course, no consideration has been given, in the way of debate or reading of those things in committee as the rules call for. Can you tell me what Reid is doing and why?

Yes, there are more than one on Harry's desk where they will remain as far as Reid and Obama are concerned.

Have you read anything that suggests that enough Senators of the Dem brand are against the new bill? I don't think Reid can twist enough arms to get them to switch over.

The bottom line is that if the Republicans can prevent any jobs from being created while Obama is in office they will stop at nothing to see to it that that is the case. They made no bones about the one goal they had was to make sure that Obama was a one term POTUS. Their loyalties do not lie with the American working class. I'm just about to puke to have to repeat this again. The GOP agenda would be clear to a five year old. A win for Obama is preceived as a loss for them. The fact is that they are already a bunch of losers...who have chosen to ignore and turn their backs on the majority of the American people and bow down to Wall Street and Corporate America instead.
