no, it was a terrorist gang that only neede a few thousand dollars, it wasnt a multi-million dollar operation.
Oh, it was much more than a few thousands bucks. I think the Op might be making a comparison to statements made by the US government that stated Americans buying drugs is contributing in financing terrorist organizations, so since some oil rich middle eastern nations have been labelled terrorist one could conclude filling up your tank is bankrolling terrorist?
Just think. If the greens in this country would let us our own resources we wouldn't have to buy our oil from the mid-east. I blame 9-11 on every green group in this country.
I want to know what people think of this claim. Thanks!
No, it is more likely the funding came from the heroin trade and the poppy fields our troops are protecting in Afghanistan and Pakistan. So, go ask those getting their heroin fix if they paid for the attacks.

And the impeached Fmr. Pres. Bill Clinton for pandering to them.
Why exactly? We all know oil is what keeps those middle eastern countries afloat, and we all know how those countries support Al Qaeda in secret ways. (Hiding Bin Laden just a few blocks from their military base)
I cannot think what you are thinking. Bin Laden didn't attack us for using oil, he attacked us for using unfair advantage over foreign peoples to rape them of their resources. We are still doing it, and will continue to be at risk for future attacks because of it.
