Of course you brought it up. Since you are going to out and out lie, there is not point in continuing this conversation.

Since your beliefs are not up for debate, there is no point in continuing this conversation.
Wow.

No, my opinion is not the only right one. But what I said is a fact. Both women and men were put here to make more people. That was the original intention of creating human life. Now, with having babies out of wedlock and gay people, that intent has gone to ****.

I did not "bring up" God. You did by trying to make an issue out of my wording. There is absolutely no reason to continue discussing it b/c it's a non issue when it comes to this discussion. I would appreciate not being called a liar as well, go back and reread the discussion, I did not "bring up" any kind of religious debate, no matter if you want to turn it into one or not.

Isn't that kind of saying that you're really NOT tolerant? Just b/c someone doesn't think gays should be able to marry does not mean they're ignorant or anti-gay. Or conservative, for that matter. Or stupid, since you want to throw that in there.

Whelp. This right here explains it.

You just don't care about fellow human beings.

Thanks for letting us in on this tidbit.
Sure I care about people. But I'm sorry if it bothers you that I don't feel sorry for people that are in immoral relationships not being able to act like married couples.

I also don't care if the immature punk on Sister Wives gets to play tomcat and roam from house to house either.

Based on that, I would fully support a Constitutional Amendment to spell that out. Unfortunately I don't see that happening.
You mean wacked out like blacks marrying whites? 96% of the country opposed it. I agree it was a horrible thing to let happen. We should have a Constitutional ban on interracial marriage. It's what God would want, since he forbid the mixing of the races.

Legally they are the same thing. Both are innate qualities that result in discrimination. And 96% of the country opposed interracial marriage. What about their rights?

Having said that, there is no reason a gay man can't get married. They have exactly the same marriage rights I do.
You may be fine with a loveless marriage, but not everyone wants to marry someone they have nothing in common with, including attraction.

What makes discrimination against race "bad" and discrimination against sexual preference "good"?
Usually this is where the "it's a choice" fallacious argument comes into play. Gays choose to be perverted abominations. Blacks don't choose their skin color.

In truth, I don't expect what I proposed to ever enter the widespread arena of public debate. It was more of an intellectual exercise than anything else.
Are you kidding? Civil unions have been proposed since before DOMA.

Your self-inflated views are hilarious.

Lame.

skin color <> sexual choice. But I don't expect you guys to actually listen to reason.

You seem to understand the argument. Now, if you can separate your emotion from the facts, maybe you'll get it.
