It should be noted that GEICO also fired someone for leaving a nasty voicemail message over the phone for a conservative group. They don't want their spokesmen making controversial statements. Sounds like a wise way to do business.

This guy has been trashing Obama for years. I liked him in Full Metal Jacket, but otherwise realize he is likely not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Maybe he, Ted Nugent and Hank Williams Jr. could put all their brainpower together and try to formulate a few intelligent thoughts.

AFLAC booted the voice of the duck for making stupid, offensive jokes as well. It plays well with the fringe elements on this forum but these corporations want the business of the mainstream, which is the majority of us.

OP wants big government to come in and tell companies who they can't and can fire.

Showing his libertarian streak

Yes I was about to ask if he could direct me to one of his posts regarding a liberal person being fired for their comments.

These wing nuts are all alike. Double standards galore.

He'd be cheering on some record label dropping the Dixie Chicks and then whines about one of his tribe getting the axe.

100% agree.

WC Fields has a great quote about not mixing politics and business.

I agree. The left and right wingnuts around here are pretty hopeless in that regard. You nailed it.
