The days of child labor are long gone and they have used up any usefulness in my opinion. When the strikers get more wages the $1 an hour worker pays more at the pump. Who wins? Not the poor. I wonder why when Obama asks us all to tighten our belts that the union workers feel they don't need to give in a little and make a little less to help out?

I don't know, man.

I kept unions away from my company by paying HIGHEST wages to my employees.

The unions were really pist about that.

A worker making $40,000 a year does not deserve $100,000 a year in retirement. It is this administration that has many of us working for that $1 an hour. So I would suggest that you step out of your envy for just a moment and let those who have slaved in the free market for their coal, enjoy that coal without having to share it with you.
That is your opinion and if it is what you believe in, perhaps you would be happier living in India.

I would venture a guess there is much more greed on the management side of this..........wonder what their bonuses and perks add up to.......

FYI, child labor is alive and well in other countries. Countries that American companies have moved their factories to in order to increase profits. Is this what you want America to compete with?

Seriously, it is time we take a stand for what is right! Any company that does not pay a decent wage in this country or elsewhere, or takes advantage of child labor, should not be allowed to sell their product or service in the US!

The rest of you can move to those third world countries that give blind support to the "job creators!"

Those "job creators" certainly have you running scared! Some advice: put down "Atlas Shrugged" and take a look at the real world.
