i just don't see why we are doing so little to turn our economy around, especially with fuel being such an important component in a country's economic health.

the government is not promoting drilling heere and developing our natural gas resources, and instead throws taxpayer money away on useless projects like solyndra. (and others)

we are giving money to other countries to get THEIR oil out.

lastly, if obama gets involved in the UN vote we have been warned by saudi arabia that they may change the way they view us.

americans are already struggling with high fuel prices, which limit consumption in other areas, which hurt businesses (particularly the small ones).

why can't we just abstain from voting on the issue? let the other countries work it out to their own benefit.

Really? And especially on gas drilling... it is everywhere except where people have enough money to block it in their neighborhood or where engineers have a say on its effect on critical structures (such as dams). The rest... well, you're doomed!

For all those who talk about the rocket attacks, how many Israeli civilians have been killed by these rockets? Answer: <30 since they began in 2001. They are a joke.

How many Palestinian civilians have been killed by Israelis? Countless thousands.

Israel is no innocent victim. The Palestinians are dirt poor and oppressed by people who have their Jewish-American friends in the USA lobby Congress to send them the latest U.S military technology.

I'm honestly surprised the U.S media hasn't released claims the Palestinians are building nuclear technology to bomb Israel.

So because the Palis aren't very good at killing innocent civilians, they shouldn't be held to the same standard...

Seems as though the Palestinians are their own worst enemy.

I guess I don't see the relevance of one side in an armed conflict not being very good at killing the other side....

If the Palis could kill more Israelis, they would.

This is some sort of modern day stupidity it seems, some people seem to think that makes it 'unfair' if one side is superior to the other.
