North Korea has denied the existence of these death camps for years. This is a modern day reminder of the horrors of Communist Dictatorship.

North Korea: Satellite photos show death camps they still deny even exist | Mail Online

Quote:
The North Korean government may deny their existence, but photos taken from space have revealed in unprecedented detail the concentration camps that are used imprison more than 200,000 citizens.

Men, women and children are forced to work seven days a week as slaves and eat 'rats, frogs, snakes, insects' and even faeces to battle starvation in the camps.

No one has a comment about modern day concentration camps in Korea? Not even the slighted disgust?

The fact that the bulk of the prisoners are there for "political crimes" is chilling.

NK is no different than Stalins Soviet Union.

It's a shame the people can't arm themselves and have at least a fighting chance to rise up against their oppressors

Who cares? They are our enemy. Did we care about Nazi prisoners in Russia AFTER WW2 that were sent to Siberia to die.

I guess it's a mixture of apathy and frustration that have most of us underwhelmed.

All nations and their citizens have known for years that repressive regimes resort to these types of things but foreign policy being an inexact science, driven more by trade than human rights, allows this stuff and encourages these misfit countries to join the U.N. and give them voting rights on issues of this very nature.

North Korea is supported by both Russia and China who the rest of the world are currently courting as trading partners - trade trumps rights!

Who you gonna call; ghostbusters are busy at the moment.

I wonder why we don't invade North Korea considering how addicted liberals are to war now.

Well I'm sure some Berkeley students are planning a "hike" along the border to check things out.
