Campaign Finance Reform.
The meta issue that underlies every other problem in this country.
Republicans are completely in the pocket of Big Business, happily subservient. Democrats are as well, but to a minutely lesser extent. Tea Party wants the country to return to 1776 (by force if necessary) and is very concerned and focused on the 'menace' of a 'Gay Agenda' ...if that tells you how out of touch they are. Also, they love being where the 'action' is. how campy!
And the majority of Americans are left out of the loop.

Other than being a bit harsh on the Tea Party, I agree completely. The big money ineterests that control our nation have both sides of the aisle bought and paid for. ALL of them need to be voted out of office.
I wish more than 49% of Americans would wake the hell up and pay attention. Neither party cares about the people or America. They care about one thing, and one thing only, enriching themselves and their fat cat owners in the MIC and Wall St.
"Republicans are populists" is about the funniest think I have read in years. Talk about getting it backwards. Neither party is populist because both are owned by their contributors. Our politics are controlled by the same corporatists that control our economy for their own monopoly profit at our expense.
The Tea Party started as a bunch of bored retired union guys wondering why they were being ignored while listening to Faux Noise. These were the "less government but stay away from Medicare" fools. They have been taken over by a greedier bunch of big business plutocrats than the regular Republicans.
I would like to see a return of a real Populist Party to American politics. We need an honest Huey Long to speak for most of America mired in our corrupt corporatist politics. Both parties together ignore far more than 50% of us. They only pay attention to the top 5% except when they need votes for their phony elections.
It is all part of the same agenda, the agenda is war and wefare, look it up.
