Anyone making under $1 million should not be allowed to vote. Or their vote should count only partially by the amount they make. For instance, 100k poor slobs should only get 1/10th a vote, etc. Someone screwed up the constitution. We need an amendment ASAP.
We own and run this country . Dont dare try to tax us more or we will take away your precious Medicare!!! And your social security!!

It is easy for people to vote OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY to the tax man.
According to Obama, 50% + percent isn't enough of a fair share for the rich.
Also consider that when they die the government swipes another 50%.

Get a balanced budget amendment and cut the government employment by a third and most of our problems go away.

No. Then they'll get upset and revolt. Better to keep it like it is.
Useless voting for candidates that are in the pockets of the elite.
Then they can work off steam fighting each other over which
puppet to elect. The one that gives em no crumbs or the
one that gives em a crumb.

They are going to get upset and revolt as the sugar of entitlements have to be removed.
The days of reckoning afre coming.

You're mistaking the ability to make a lot of money for intelligences and good moral values. Being poor should not take away a person's constitutional right to vote. If only people who have money can vote, then eventually the laws will all change to make it harder and harder for a poor person to ever get ahead thus the wealthy ruling class portion of the population will be come smaller and smaller.

So far we are seeing the tyranny of the majority through the class warfare of Democrats to force the top 10% to pay for most things and the bottom 50% to pay nothing.
Maybe the bottom should pay something as well and not just suck dollars all the time out of our economy.
What is the end game on stopping the abuse of the great society programs?

'Entitlements' are just what you call other people's safety nets.
Wait until a wildfire or flood hits your town.

Those 'entitlements' will seem a lot less scorn worthy when you're down here with the rest of us.

The banking industry played casino capitalism,
and the poor and working class are played as marks,
picking up the check. You know, I could be a libertarian,
but they seem more concerned with the future actions
of a big government boogieman, and less concerned
with the injustices big business inflicts daily
upon the vast majority of us.

First, the banking industry played casino capitalism because the Democrat congress at that time forced laws that caused no look loans with Afirmative Action housing loans.
Secondly, long ago we bloated the hell out of government employment as a percentage of the population compared to the past, so fire a third of government employees back to the private sector as a start so the people paying taxes don't have to pay for workfare.
Lastly, nothing wrong with taking care of the elderly and massively disabled. Nothing wrong with temporary saftey nets of a few months. The rest has to go.

What he said !! What he said !! I would rep, you on
that if I could. Great post..

Less government by about 50% and a fair tax of
12% on everybody might help us get back on track,
but, I don't anything will get done until 2012.
